Group Facilitator

Well, where to start...counseling appeals to me because I am a firm believer that everyone has a story to tell! What unique and varied lives we live! I have called Middle TN home for 22 years (minus a few years spent in the Pacific Northwest), have called TN home, my entire life. At the time of writing this profile I am a social worker for the state of Tennessee- specifically, for the department of corrections. I facilitate a class on boundaries and healthy communications. My current role is all about substance abuse recovery and reentry efforts; two things I have great passion for. As someone in recovery, I am familiar with the challenges and joys of change. At the end of the day, I want to help others believe in themselves because I am currently working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I hope that by working with me you feel truly listened too. I strive to stay curious and open-minded throughout my work with others. In the near future I will be taking on clients for individual therapy sessions.
